About Dave Rutherford
Dave Rutherford has over 11 years of professional teaching experience. Having gained Grade 8 Honours by the age of 18, Dave went on to live in Hollywood, attending the prestigious Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT). Graduating in 2007, he performed at countless live concerts, playing sessions with Josh Freese, (Sting/Paramore/Weezer/Nine Inch Nails/The Vandals)in Jim Henson Studios, whilst receiving tuition from world greats such as Paul Gilbert, Uli Roth, Johnny Highland and Scott Henderson. Dave now resides in the UK, playing in many original bands, recording with Virgin Records Producer Matt O Grady and teaching across schools and private tuition across the North East. Dave is a true professional who always delivers results of the finest quality. From beginners to professionals, there isn’t a style he cannot play or student he cannot help!
